Scheduled
On Saturday July 15 from 12:01 AM to 12:00 PM, CCS will be upgrading the campus (business) voicemail system. During this time, the voicemail system will also be moved from physical hardware to a virtual environment. The upgrade and the migration to a virtual platform are required to maintain continued vendor support in the future. While the maintenance window is scheduled for 12 hours, we are planning to have services restored and available by 5 AM. Should we encounter unexpected problems we will update the status pages and advise of a new ETA for when voicemail services will be available again.
The University back-up auto attendants will be operational during the upgrade process. Callers to the university will get presented with the same options they usually would. The auto attendant will also provide options for reaching the Ridgetown Campus and different departments including Campus Police, OVC, etc. Please note: Callers will not be able to leave messages while the voicemail system is undergoing maintenance. UoG staff and faculty cannot retrieve voicemails and will not be able to change their voicemail preferences, however all existing saved messages and preferences will be preserved and are available again once the maintenance has been completed.
If you have questions regarding this maintenance please contact the Help Centre at 58888help@uoguelph.ca.

The updates will be posted at https://uoguelph.statuspage.io
