The voicemail server has been restarted and voicemail services have now recovered.

Voicemail services appear to have trouble recovering. Inbound calls to the University auto-attendant seem to be operating, but they too may be affected by this issue.

We are investigating and will attempt to resolve these as soon as possible.

Database synchronization is completed. Telephone service has been restored to full functionality. Jabber services continue to remain unavailable.

Server restarts are continuing as planned. At this time, telephone service will enter reduced functionality until database synchronization is complete. Jabber services will begin to be unavailable at this time.

The first portion of the maintenance is complete and software updates have been loaded onto all telephone servers. Telephone servers will now be restarted to activate the software updates. Servers will be restarted in a staggered fashion to minimize service interruptions.

On Saturday, June 22 beginning at 4:00 PM and ending at 8:00 AM Sunday morning, CCS is planning on performing maintenance on the campus telephone system. During this time vendor recommended updates will be applied. These updates are required in order to prevent the telephone system from becoming unavailable during additional upcoming maintenance activities. During this maintenance window, all telephone services will be unavailable for a period of approximately 30 minutes with an additional 60 minutes of reduced functionality once telephone service is restored. During this time of reduced functionality, features like hold and transfer will be unavailable. It is expected that the aforementioned 30 minute service impact will occur between Saturday 11:30PM and Sunday 3:30 AM, however, the exact times will vary.

In support of the above maintenance activity, CCS will also be performing maintenance on Friday, June 21 (8:30 PM to 11:59 PM) and Sunday, June 23 (8:00 PM to 11:59 PM). During this time, telephone servers will be prepared and restarted. During the restart portion of the maintenance window, telephones will quickly re-register to the next available server. On-campus calls in progress will not be affected, however, off-campus calls will be terminated as off-campus telephone lines complete the re-registration process. Care will be taken to complete the restarts at a time when minimal off-campus calls are in progress.
