The campus perimeter firewall service will be undergoing maintenance.

During this maintenance window, CCS will implement a new global security policy on the campus perimeter firewall to improve the University’s security posture.

The new policy will only allow “known-good” traffic on ports 80 and 443, which is browsing based traffic initiated from the Internet to campus as well as a pre-defined exception list of services, and block everything else. It will not change the behaviour of outbound traffic from campus to the internet. Services hosted at the CCS Data Center will not be affected.
