Colleague System Upgrades
Scheduled Maintenance Report for University of Guelph IT System

The maintenance of the Colleague systems has been completed. During our testing, we have discovered that our Informer reporting server is currently having difficulty connecting to Colleague in its new location. We have identified the cause of this issue, and are working with vendor support to address it.

WebAdvisor, Colleague UI, Self-Service and all other connected services remain available.

CCS is planning to upgrade the hardware supporting our Colleague database and application server on Saturday, May 25.

This upgrade is necessary so that we can improve the time it takes for Colleague to process larger amounts of data and make changes like increasing the number of students that can register at a time.

WebAdvisor, Colleague UI, and Informer will be unreachable for several hours between 6:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. on May 25 during this upgrade.
