On Tuesday September 26 from 6:00 AM to 8:00 AM, CCS will be moving the business voicemail server to another virtual platform in order to upgrade the firmware and ESXi drivers as required to maintain continued vendor support in the future.

On Thursday September 28 from 6:00 AM to 8:00 AM, CCS will be moving the business voicemail system back to its upgraded virtual platform. At the same time we’ll be moving the residence voicemail server to the upgraded platform in order to upgrade its residing server.

On Tuesday October 3 from 6:00 AM to 8:00 AM, CCS will be moving the residence voicemail system back to its upgraded platform.

The University back-up auto attendants will be operational during the migration between servers. Callers to the university will get presented with the same options they usually would. The auto attendant will also provide options for reaching the Ridgetown Campus and different departments including Campus Police, OVC, etc. Please note: Callers will not be able to leave messages while the voicemail system is undergoing maintenance. UoG staff, faculty and some students cannot retrieve voicemails and will not be able to change their voicemail preferences, however all existing saved messages and preferences will be preserved and are available again once the maintenance has been completed.
