Scheduled
During the T1M on December 16th between 5 AM and 12 PM, CCS will patch the database tier of the Oracle Access Manager (OAM) /Single Sign On service. There will be no change in functionality of the OAM/SSO service or any of the SSO-protected services.

We expect almost no noticeable impact on the following SSO-protected services (except for possible double login for some users and several seconds up to a minute downtime depending on the service close to the beginning and end of the maintenance window):
- CourseLink and Gryph Mail
- Federated SSO and the federated services, for example, Pension Portal or Software Distribution
- RecruitGuelph and Student Housing websites
- SSO protected websites behind www.uoguelph.ca, intranet.uoguelph.ca, and news.uoguelph.ca
as these will be temporarily transitioned to our backup OAM/SSO cluster.

Other WAM/SSO protected services including, for example, FRS, ECS, web tier for ImageNow, OpenEd Grade portal, Hospitality applications, OAM/SSO protected departmental webservers, e.g., in Physics or College of Arts will be unavailable for about 30 minutes also close to the beginning and the end of the maintenance.

If you have any questions or comments about this maintenance please contact the CCS Information Security team via 58888help@uoguelph.ca.
